Les Belges ne connaissent pas la limonade. D’habitude, ils proposent à la place une Spa-citron (Spa est une marque d’eau minérale). Alors, j’ai l’habitude, en bonne Française adaptée à la culture belge, de demander une Spa-citron quand je veux une limonade.

The Belgians do not know about the Limonade. Usually, they suggest instead a Spa-lemon (Spa is a brand of mineral water). So I got used, as a good French woman adapted to belgian culture, to ask for a Spa-lemon when I want a Limonade.
Usually it works, apparently not always.
– A Spa-lemon, please. – A Sprite, it’s ok? – No, a Spa with lemon sirup. – Ah, that’s really what you want.
