En haut d’une colline surplombant la ville de Nara se trouve l’ancienne ville impériale et ses temples. Les Japonais sont très pieux et les temples de Nara sont particulièrement réputés. Il y a donc foule. Ici, c’est le bassin où les gens viennent se laver les mains et le visage pour se purifier avant d’aller au temple.
